Today, Urban biodiversity is not only an important part of urban ecosystem but also, is a substantial ecological and cultural integrating element. Furthermore the native flora and fauna are important tools for urban ecological and cultural identity.
Studies tell us that Urban biodiversity has a positive impact on human wellbeing. Expanding the urban green areas in cities, play a significant role in improving the green infrastructure. It mitigates climate change and the heat island effect positively and also promotes plant species richness, but also brings better quality of life for human beings.
Till date Mega Scape’s has planted and sustained more than 2 lac trees spread across Maharashtra. Created 3 biodiversity parks, 2 bird parks, 5 lakes spread across 300 + acres of land.
Tree Plantation

Waterbody Creation & Aquatic Ecosystem Development
Water body plays a very important role in maintaining a bio aesthetic balance and over all appeal for a balanced space. Other than green spaces, in order to improve Urban Biodiversity, it is important to design strategies and implement large scale planning for Aquatic Urban Habitats. Therefore, sustainable design, planning and management of urban ponds, reservoirs, lakes and other water bodies plays a significant role.
